Help for skype

this is the last one I tried Asked by connielane about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

Yesterday I downloaded Skype and it doesn't work. No one there will help me, I just get referred to the knowledgebase and I've already done everything they suggested there. I changed my audio settings as they suggested. When I try to contact customer support my email gets kicked back because the answer to my problem is in knowledgebase. Only it's not! What I need is a email address and I can't find one anywhere. At this point I just want my money back but I can't find a way to communicate that to them. They say you can do that with in 30 days. What can I do?

Hello connielane,

I have used SKYPE since last May and have no complaints. It has really helped me reduce my long distance phone bill! Please tell me exactly what is going on. I assume that you have tried the customer support link: http://www.skype.com/help/guides/skypeout.html

Did the SKYPE test call work for you? Make sure when you enter your contact list that you open the "SKYPEout" page. Also, make sure there are no spaces or dashes between the numbers, and the number 1 preceeds the phone number. (example: 13037568345)

Have you checked your headset to make sure it works? Also check that the microphone and headphone jacks are in the correct holes. This may seem obvious, but I only mention it because I have made these mistakes myself!

That's all I can think of right now. SKYPE has always been very responsive when I have a problem, so I don't know why you haven't been able to get help. Good luck, Irish
