how long after intercourse can you take a pregnancy test if you dont want to wait for a missed period?

With pregnancy tests, you have to wait for a missed period. Only a blood test will let you know sooner.

You can always go to your doctor and ask them for a blood test, for this will be the only way to know before your missed period, although, if it is right after intercourse and the fertilized egg has not reached the uterine wall to implant itself there, then it is to soon and the doctor will ask you to wait a couple days so you can get an accurate result from the blood test! the pregnancy tests will say when you can take it on the leaflet inside the pack.
most tests can be done on the day your period should be due.
some can be done 4 days before you peiod is due.
