Why won't my wow character show up?

I love to play world of warcraft, but my character an elf named saxa won´t come online every time i try to go online my computer tells me that an error has occured, what do i do

Hi,

If you're signing on and it takes you just to the realm page and your characters don't show, it could be weekly maintenance on your server. Every Tuesday there is maintenance on the entire game, so no one can get on. Other days, it's just specific realms or servers.

If it's a specific error code, I can't help you unless I know the error. Or you could contact WoW technical support--they are helpful, especially since they charge an arm and a leg for the game.
