Healthy food ideas

We just found out my wife is pregnant!!!

We need some healthy food ideas. Please Help!!

Congratulations! That's so exciting! I want another little one!

Anyways about the food:

No Shellfish
No Deli Meats (unless heated in a microwave or oven first to kill bacteria)
Limit your Tuna Intake
Caffiene is allright in small amounts, say one cup a day
No Sushi!
Most women need an extra 300 calories a day in their diets when pregnant.
Fruits
Veggies
Tortillas or wheat bread instead of whole bread
Vegetable and Fruit Juice and Plenty of Water
Yogurt with fruit
Grilled Chicken
Dark Green Vegetables are the best for you
Nuts and Peanut Butter

Although, remember once the cravings hit, it can be really hard to stick to a healthy diet. lol.

Fresh fruit veg, whole grains, lean meats, and ice cream... LOTS of ice cream.

Congratulations!!!

Try to stay away from shellfish and limit tuna...make sure all meat and poultry is cooked fully...eat lots of fruits and vegetables...anything with protein. Basically just try to eat from all the food groups and eat healthy. Cravings a lot of times are going to get the best of her and she might eat some strange things but try to limit the junk food. My doctor always said that one cup of caffeine a day won't hurt but make sure she doesn't have any more than that.

DATES DATES DATES ,, for a healthy and smart child go for date try to take 20-30 psc a day and its really good

Make sure your wife eats plenty of greens like spinach as it contains folic acid. Another thing is milk. My friend has had a baby and didn't drink enough milk, her baby is now 2 and my friend has false teeth from this.
