Do any health insurance plans cover supplements?

Does anyone know of a health insurance plan that covers supplements like CoQ10 and Alpha Lipoic Acid?

I'm not aware of any health insurance plans that cover suppliments.

Some perscription drug plans may offer coverage.

Flexible spending accounts can cover suppliments but often they require a perscription from a doctor to treat a specific medical condition.

While there have been a few interesting studies regarding Coenzyeme 10Q and Alpha Lipoic Acid neither of these have been shown to be effective for any medical condition.
