Headache has been killing me for 6 days

Ok.. I've had this headache for 6 days now.. and I dont know what it is.. its not like a huge headache.. but during school its pretty bad.. I've taken advil and tylenol extra strengh.. I've also taken this tylenol that a prescription that I got for something else..

anybody got any ideas on what 2 do?? IT REALLY HURTS!!

AND IM POSTING IN LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS B.C. THATS THE MOST LOOKED AT THING I NEED ANSWERS ASAP!!

Its possible you need to get your eyes checked... when you take the advil or tyleonol does it go away for a few hours and then come back? Or is it ineffective? What part of your head hurts? Is it worse when you stand up from a sitting position? Does it throb? Is it dull or sharp?

Ok, well what you should do is go ahead, and talk to your family dr. he will have the best advice for you..anyways, good luck. :]

I wear contacts and my head still hurts when I dont wear them. the tylenol doesnt even help at all.. its the back of my head.. low.. like near the neck.. and it hurts no matter if I stand of sit. it sometimes throbs.. and its sharp when it throbs.. but usually dull.. lol I think I got all the Q's

I told my mommy and daddy bout it.. and they just gave me tylenol... and were about 2 go on a trip 2mrw.. so I cant until tuesday

ahahah... my boyfriend had he same thing!! - he took all these pain killers, including tylenol and advil, but it didn't seem to work for him either... he went to the doctors... and figured out that all that he needed was to sleep early, drink water, and eat healthlier!! - so try that... and maybe that'll rest your case! =)

First, I'd consult with a doctor or at least a school nurse.

Many things can cause a dull headache. It is usually a sign that your body is in some sort of stress that needs to be attended to.

Even constipation can cause a dull headache.

Besides consulting a doctor, I'd recommend drinking lots of water, eating healthy meals, getting proper sleep and getting plenty of exercise. If the headache continues then you MUST consult with a doctor.

I'd go talk to a doctor...
I had the same sort of headache and it turned out it was a tension headache...
But you never know you it could be something serious like a concussion...

the time of year and the duration of the headache...leads me to believe it may be allergy related...perhaps you can try an antihistamine along with an anti-inflammatory

I think your headaches I relating to you being stress I know my head hurts when I can stop thinking about so much things I got to do.hope you feel better
