Can you pee with a tampon in?

can you pee with a tampon in? my mom says no, but I'm not entirely sure. I can't afford to keep changing them when I have to pee. any advice?

I do it all the time.
Its a pain in the butt to hafta change it everytime you pee.
Its completely 100% okay to pee with a tampon in,because You dont pee through the same hole anyways.
It might be a bit harder to clean yourself up after peeing,because youll hafta dodge the string and try not to pull it out,but Yes,Its completely okay to pee with a tampon in.
But be sure you change your tampon every 8 hours.

ACTUALLY, YOU HAVE TWO HOLES DOWN THERE. (I'M NOT BEING RUDE). WERE YOU INSERT THE TAMPON IS ONE AND WERE YOU PEE IS THE OTHER. MOST GIRLS THINK THEY ONLY HAVE ONE HOLE BUT THAT'S NOT TRUE. I USED TO HAVE THE SAME QUESTION BUT FORTUNATELY I ASKED A NURSE AND SHE EXPLAINED TO ME THE WHOLE THING, WHICH TRUTHFULLY WAS KIND OF EMBARRASSING, BUT HEY YOU got to ASK. I don't know what your mom or that other girl are talking about but yes you can pee with a tampon in. I just did it like 10 minutes ago. It makes no difference, there is no connection.
