If you have long hair and you want a emo hairstyle do you have to cut it or not?

Emo mean emotinaly unstable so it dosnt matter if its long or not.

you could add some coulor or streaks to it, you could mess it up a bit, or you could have a few layers put in to add texture, but that doesnt mean you have to cut loads off

Emo is a genre of music, not a style.
Just look for a cute style in a magazine or something and get it.

I think it is not a problem as long as you make it a point to have your hair very textured. Getting a razor cut is a great way to have the movement and fringe put into long hair and also get great volume with it.

Ok, I know this really pretty(emo) chick and she has really long hair, she just got the top layer cut really short, and she scruches the top, straigtens her bangs and the rest of her hair. its actually kinda cute.
