I have really long hair, and im in need of a change, suggestions?

I have really long hair, and im in need of a change. I want to get it cut short, but im scared, any suggestions?

My hair was like in the middle of my back and it is SOOO thick and it started to get really hot and we had not turned on our air yet so I went and got it cut to like right below my ears. It was really hard to do because it was so long but I would say look at some pictures of cuts you like and just go for it :)

Don’t whack it all off at once…it just leads to tears. Mine was getting really heavy, so I opted for getting it layered and thinned. It made it easier for it hold curl for a different hairstyle, and it didn’t end in the horror of all of a sudden feeling bald. What helped me the most though? Finding someone with hair as long as mine to teach me different things to do with it. I can braid 5 different ways now, know how to do a heck of a lot of nifty up-do’s, and generally just enjoy playing with it. Remember, long hair gives you a lot of options on how to wear your hair. A short ‘do gives you one…until it grows back out. Just my two cents.

well dont cut it soo short cut it a little or you should just tie it in a ponytail

well you first could start with layers which is a shorter look but more subtle. :)
