How can i color black hair back to my natural color?

I have colored my hair black now for a while... and every time it grows out..I look like a skunk... the problem is.. I dont want to stay with black hair.. I want to go back to my natural medium brown hair but my hair wont take any other color.. is...

there a way other than getting my hair stripped to get my hair to take any color other than black. A way that I dont have to wait 6 months with a color exploded look on my head or looking like a skunk?

well, I'm telling you salons always do the trick! or you could bleach it yourself, where it would come out orange orange, but then after that you can dye it the brown you want.

First: Get a blonde hairdyeing kit that HAS bleach in it (make sure it says that becuase not all blonde ones day that). There is a brand called Frost and glow, it works really good. Not all blonde hair-kits will take black out, but the good ones most definitly will. ($12-$15)

Second: When you are finished with putting the blonde in your hair, it probley wont work instantly, putt a plasitc bag over your hair and make sure its sealed with a clip or something, the heat NEEDS to be kept in there for it to work good.

Third: Now you can go buy a colour that looks exactly like your natural haircolour and it will work perfect. And colour works on bonde.

This is kind of a pricey way, but going to a salon would cost much more!! And they would be doing the EXACT same thing.

If I were you I would have it professionally stripped... It will not damage your hair as much as you resorting to other things to get the black out..

Also a hairdresser once told me that using Tide Detergent... I think the powder kind... Will take out hairdye, or at least fade hair of any color... I have never tried it so I dont know if it works for sure
