Well the key to getting in shape, even if its just slimming down your gut, is working out. You say you don't have time but really a half hour a day would be enough. Maybe just do some sit up and crunches, etc. You could also rearrange your eating habits a bit and try to only intake healthier foods. Instead of having ice cream after dinner have salad or small things like that.

Avoid hydrogenated/partially hydrogenated foods and high fructose corn syrup. Basically read your labels and don't eat anything processed.
