Guitar hero and rockband

does guitar hero or rockband help someone to become better musicians?

Although I don't think that directly it helps you become bettter it may help with the skills that are also needed in being a musician. It will help your hand-eye
co-ordination which is also good to have with playing an instrument.

If you play the guitar, playing guitar hero could also help with the flexibility and movement of your fingers.

It could also help with note recognition.
