Governor Palin's email address has been high Jacked? Why?
I heard a few minutes ago that Governor Palin's personal email address has been High Jacked by some anti conservative people.
I thought Obama cared about our privacy. What happened to...

that?

Unless *Obama* did it, OR one of his staff...its not his fault, right? So why on Earth would you blame him?

And, Obama voted *for* telecom immunity, as did McCain. So they both wanted to give companies a pass for spying on us. It's not just Obama, it's the Republicans who started it continued to support the FISA legislation, Patriot Act, etc, as well.

Well, Sarah Palin had a 'personal' e-mail address that she only gave to a few people, and they said that's where she wrote all her 'personal' things. Like the things having to do with Her ex-brother in law. The firing of that chief or whatever. And all that other stuff. So there probably just reading her 'personal' e-mails to see what exactly she has been lieing about.

It's not Obama's fault.

So, you believe that it MUST have been anti-conservatives. Couldn't possibly have been anyone else.
AND you blame OBAMA.

The issue here isn't the email security (besides, Yahoo would be in huge trouble if it got hacked somebody probably guessed the password) - it's that Palin was using Yahoo mail to conduct *state* business.

That's illegal.

And, a HUGE problem.

So I just read more about this issue. The basic problem is this: disclosure laws say you must have an archive of your email. Sarah Palin was (seemingly) conducting state business via a Yahoo email account.

Thus, the issue, somebody could have impersonated her gotten access to the account.

There is a federal investigation into this - and no, not because her Yahoo account was compromised. Because she was, seemingly, for the world to see via screenshots a press release, conducting state business during an investigation into a potential illegal firing of an employee via an account that wasn't being backed up for later investigation on government run servers.

There.

Bottom line: if the electronic records show that she's guilty of skirting the letter of the law, then she broke it. Big, huge, massive problem.
