well hot topic for one is a place youll want to avoid
nothing there is really goth and everybody else has it
try online like on ebay, theyll have a lot of different things you can mix and match
you could also go op-shopping and get some individual things
they tend to have a bit of everything, so you can mix and match
the brands new rock and demonia make great looking gothic boots
if you cant foind a store you can order them on there online store
try looking at majic places and anywere that sells witch clothes like capes and thingsmade from velvet
they tend to have gothic clothes and spiked accessories too
also you can customise anything you find
or if you find something you love thats say too big, try getting it altered or go to a dressmaker
also alchemygothic makes great jewelry and accessories like belt buckles, knives/swords and things

Hot Topic - it may be popular, but you can find some good stuff there. I don't like that shop myself, but it's the only one I can think of.

I don't know if you go to the extreme with the makup and all that, but Hot Topic will hook you up with that, too.

First off volleyballstar, f*ck off... there's nothing wrong with being gothic.
Second, there's more to being goth than wearing horrific clothes. That's NOT what it's all about. There's really nothing horrific about being gothic. It's no big deal, goths aren't scary or anything... they're people too.
Anyway, Hot topic has some great clothes/accesories as does Spencers.
But in all honesty, you seem like a poser though, no offence but it's true. Don't be something you're not... just be yourself.

Ladies and Gents, I beg of you. Quit confusing Hot Topic with goth. Seriously. Try The Gallery Serpentine. Hefty prices, but if you're seriously considering going goth then you'll commit and buy something that actually looks good. Shanshan14girl, darling, you can't put a claim on anything goth until you've heard Siouxie and the Banshees. Do it right or not at all.
