Giving someone a present that was a present to me?

life..... Asked by beczy about 1 month ago, 1 answer.

Heya,
I wanted some opinions on something...
Wot do you think of giving someone a gift that was given to u?
So what I mean is I was given this kinda nice pink purse for my birthday but I have never used it as its not my kinda thing, it got chainy bits on...

it and its a bit big but really I already have purses I use so I dont need it. Now my friends bday is coming up and well I think she'd really like it, its her kinda thing... And I dont have much money so wot do you think of me giving it on? Is that wrong, I dont see how it could be because I have never used it, never will, its going to waste... But I dunno, some people say thats really bad? Surely its better than just throwing it away? Its practically new?!?!?!?!

Thanks xxx

Yeah, it's called 're-gifting'. I've done it. Go for it. It's the thought that counts, and I'm sure you appreciated receiving the purse as a present but your friend will like it more and she'll appreciate your gesture.
