Girls getting pregnant young

Ok this is in no way a bash on you girls or supposed to be insulting. im just wondering why it is that you girls do not use condoms or birth control...or both! Thats what I do and have never had a problem at all. Its fine if you want to have sex, its a natural part of life, but please...all you girls have such a life to live and enjoy, im not saying the baby will ruin it but it will make it vvveeerrryyy difficult. their are just so many bad conciquences that come from having sex so young besides pregnancy. I mean you could get std's...have any of you had eachother checked? Im assuming you all are unprotected or mostly. all im saying is be careful and stay healthy by getting protection and get checked, it makes me sad to see all these girls saying they are pregnant at 12, 13, 14...just take care of yourself...and if you havent yet, get a pregnancy test...take care and I appologize if this was abusive in anyway, I just meant to help...no harm intended...

I agree as well! Everytime I read a question about how you know if you are pregnant on here by a child it makes me so angry! A lot of people would blame the parents but I can honestly say that at 12, 13, and 14 I would never think that my child would be having sex or anything else! I was still playing with Barbies then and had never done anything with a guy. I was 17 when I had my first kiss... lol. I guess the sex talk is just going to have to be given a lot earlier now!

I agree with you, and it doesn't seem like you were bashing. It is a very serious problem. STD's is the least of their worries. HIV/AIDS is playing with your life. You can't say you know he or she is clean because gosh you can get this stuff from everywhere.

Well my wife got pregnant cause her parents wouldn't get her birth control and we had no money for condoms so yeah lol. Hard to live by yourself with girlfriend at 15 having sex and going to no sex at all. Just saying that not everyone's conclusion is from a simple problem and has a simple answer.

It happens because we as a society tend to ignore sexuality in teens at that age. We just shrug our shoulders and tell them not to have sex... and then expect them not to. Which is completely unrealistic.

What we need to do is offer more sexual education and more discreet reproductive health services to PREVENT unwanted pregnancies.

im sure anyone could put aside some money for condoms...youve got three bucks to buy gas to see your girlfriend or boyfriend or whoever...use 3 bucks and buy them...I dont have much money either but even a bum could afford them if he needed them bad enough.

...or go to any clinic and get a whole hand full for free. (I always wonder why people buy them... when you can get such an abundance for free.)
