Gifts for a 16 year old girl

What sort of ideas can you give me to get gifts for a 16 year old girl? This girl is headstrong and seems to only like her Ipod and her journal. Any clues where I can get some ideas or does anyone have any pearls of wisdom for me?

well however I am younger my friends are older than me and they are exactly like that.....usually we have to find something to do with what they like....like differnt things for their ipod or a new journal or something that they can work with creatively....if you go into a store like a music store or anything just ask a clerk what would be the best choice they may ask questions what the person is into and then help you by that...GOOD LUCK

Go to your local mall. They often have gift certificates that you can use in any store there. You can purchase them at the mall office. Then take your 16 year old to the mall and let her loose. You can't go wrong.

anyway anything you do get her will be from you and special...ik if a guy ever picked me out clothes I would love them its sweet shows you actually DO care

why not a gift vocher for music?
that way you dont have to try and work out what music shes into
and you know she will be happy with it
