How would you tell if a GHD purple IV styler is fake?

I ordered a purple ghd off 21shopping.com, and now I’m worried it is a fake? It was only marked as 52 dollers on the site. I don’t have it yet, but the site e-mailed me with a tracking number and the link for Canadian postal site I already used before. When I get it, how will I be able to tell if it is a fake or not?

but really it just may be a used one and they wouldnt have all that fancy stuff the website says a “real” one has.

It is most probably fake.Heres an interesting fact: The man who owned GHD, recently sold the company and started a new company producing hair straighteners called ‘Cloud Nine’. Cloud Nines are the best hair straighteners you can buy, like GHD used to be. But now that GHD is being run in the asian countries, it is no longer as good as it was anyway. If you are going to buy GHDs, you would have been better off to buy them from a hair salon or a salon shop. That way you get the authenticity.
