Getting abused? i don't know what to do

my friend has recently told me that she has been gettng slightly abused by her father. it concerns me because she is a nice person, and seems happy most the time. and she is like a close friend to me. I dont know what would hurt her worse. me telling a...

counseler to get her help, but take her away from her father, or just leaving it alone so she will trust me and still get abused. (btw it is physical,and emotional abuse, not sexual abuse.) she also claims that her father wants to get rid of all the kids so he can have their mother all to himelf, and the mother knows that. but she will not do anything bout it. how can I hlp my great friend with this situation. I would hate to see her get hurt... anyway

Tell her you want to help and in order to do that, you need to tell someone that can help. If it were my friend, I would tell someone (like a counselor) or even another trusted adult and maybe they will end up talking to the police about this abuse, because it shouldn't be happening.

Abuse is a really serious thing even its just emotional abuse I think you should tell someone. Your friend might not like that you told and she might not even talk to you for a while but in the end you did the right thing.

u should tell somebody before the abuse gets worst.your friend will probaly be mad at ufor awhile but one day she will thank u

If you feel that she is getting hurt , You need to tell a trusted adult maybeeven a child and family services worker, She may be upset with you at first but in the long run you are doing the right thing. Fun mail me if you need to talk .
