Ok, so my family is getting cranky with me because I recently got dumped I'm upset cranky all the time when I can't help it..and I tend to hide away in my room whenever I'm upset they keep telling me to get over him cause hes a jerk I just can't...

I don't know why..any tips on how I can get over him without punching him out?..lol..
because they want to put me on antidepressants and I really don't want to go on them because I've been on them before..

you know nothings worse[well there is]
but you get even more groutchy when someone clos eto you tells you when to get over it.
but they obviouslky dont know how your feeling
I suggest - listening to good songs, and as soon as a sad song, comes on no matter wheather you want to lisen SWITCH IT OVER.
and of course you justy go aand settle in your room maybe because its your own comfort zone something of yours and basicallly your ex was in a way yours so you lost him so you moved onto the surroundings in your bedroom.
dont go on anti depressents they make you worse lool
but I hope your cool, you sound safe anyway, and things happens for reasons

Everyone has their own grief time line...you'll get over it, when you get over it...You don't need to take it out on friends, tho...they''re just trying to help you.

I disagree with amblessed. A breakup can be amazingly painful. You could try a therapist...but if you dont want to or cant afford that... in time the pain will just fade away. But dont take it out on your friends on family thats for sure.
