Step son that does not listen whatsoever

I have one step son that does not listen what so ever! He looks at me as if im stupid and when I ask him to do something he never does what he's told. He expects my son to stay in the kitchen all day or set on the couch and my son is 11 months...

This is easy...Tell your husband to handle it. You are trying to do something that is hard because son knows you are not real mom etc..The only person that can break him down (in love) is the dad. Tell husband to handle him and for his boy not to bother little brother. Start there and then see how it goes.

He probaly feels uneasy around you. Like you are trying to be his mum. It happens a lot children feel like there step parents are trying to replace the real parents when most of the time they are just trying to help out.

Speak to your partner about his sons behaviur. Explain to him that he is a very ignroant child and disprects you and you can't take it. Try not to be harsh when you break the news; he could take it the wrong way and it could back fire so you have tto be gentle. Good luck

11 months old? He's just an infant no wonder he doesn't listen lol.

how old is your step son that also matters.it will take time bt show him your love and solve yourself if he misbehaves wid you, don't tell his father all his acts. it will bring him closer to u. be strict if he is wrong.
