An orange or a lemon seed would take about 30 days to germinate. Just plant it near the surface of the soil, water it every day and make sure it gets lots of light, 4 to 6 hours sun a day. In 30 days you'll see a little seeding. Keep it in the sun, dont put it outside in your area, it's too cold.

You may have to research how to get the seed germinating. Some seeds need special preparation.
