How do you turn on a frozen ipod??

let it die. if it hasn't been frozen for very long, just let it die and it will probably work after you charge it.

what I do is I hold the play/pause button the middle button until it turns off.

do you have the 'hold' button on?
this might be why its frozen.
if not, go to radio shak or somewhere like that to get it checked out.

Hold down menu and play/pause button at the same time constantly while you toggle the hold button 5 or 6 times. It should shut off and be fine after that
