French tip nails.

what do you use to get a perfect straight french tip ??

I cut strips of masking tape, lay them where you want them on your nails (for thinkness, etc) paint the area at the tip of your nail where the tape isnt over the nail, let them dry and peel off the tape! Perfect tips!!

I must second that using tape and putting it where you dont want the tape works quite well.. Thats what I do.. =]

When I do mine I just follow the curve of my nail (the white part of the nail). When you buy french tip nail polish they normally come with white stickies (I have no idea what they're called) and you put them right under the white part of your nail and then peal them off when the polish is dry.

But masking tape would work good too. And be a lot cheaper.
