absolutely! there are so many legal forms to fill out. you should be represented by a reputable exchange program and you need to apply for a visa, get a passport, have a medical exam, and so, so much more! It is a lot of work and there usually are expenses that must be covered by your family as well, but if you are able to participate in an exchange opportunity, it will be an expirience you will never forget! good luck!

especially since most people under eighteen don't have $8000 dollars of their own money to spend.
