Does getting your lip pierced hurt?

does getting your lip pierced hurt?
tell me your experence. I'm thinking about
getting mine done.

when I got mine pierced it really didnt hurt, all I had to do was clean it reallty well with like mounthwash or something after eating. I just felt a lot of pressure but the needle isnt that big, I pierced my friends lip too and she said it didnt hurt.

well I have 4 lip rings
if you get it done though, get it done profesional...not by a freind or someone like that...and not at a salon either
it depends on your pain tolerance but its nothing you cant handle
also make sure its something you want, not just something to be 'cool'
all mine are fine, but if you dont get it donr profesionally youll risk getting it crooked and have a greater risk on infection.
its going to swell that part of your lip up, but that should go down within 3 days
to clean it you can use a sea salt soak
1 tablespoon of sea salt in a cup of warm water, saok it in there for about 15 mins a day for a week or so
if you have any other questions just ask the peircer!

like jazlovestoskate said it best, it depends on your pain tolerance, I have 2 lip piercings and DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF. At 15 it seemed like a good idea to me and now im stuck with a scar that looks like a blackhead. My monroe though didn't hurt at all when I got it done, the people there were cool and I closed my eyes and honestly I think getting your ears pierced feels worse. hope this helps
