It's Blood SPATTER. Food splatters, paint splatters, ink splatters... blood SPATTER. happy That may help you get the right information for your search.
I believe the first person in the US to study and teach blood spatter analysis was Herbert MacDonald- but I'm not sure if he invented the fingerprint brush or not.
