I have a few favourites.
I love the lyrics to universal soldier by Donovan. great message in that song.
There is a song sung by a man called Luke Kelly called 'simplicity'. Its about a child with autism. Its a powerfull song too.
I also love the lyrics to the old song called the dutchman. Its about a woman whos husband had alzheimer's. Great lyrics.
Then there is a canadian song called the ballad of saint annes reel. thats a fun song.

Another song whose lyrics I love is an old rebel song called 'only our rivers run free'. Its a clever and deep song.

Mine are really short ones, but I think dallas green has such an amazing voice, my favorite lyrics by him would have to be The Girl by City and Colour.

And my favorite bands lyrics are The Navy Song by Billy Talent.
