is it okey to marry your cousin?
like if a man married his cousin from his mother side of the family
It is proven that you only carry the gene of your father side

Actually, you carry genes from BOTH parents...

First cousin marriage is sometimes illegal, and definately frowned upon...however, second and third cousins, is ok...kind of like line breeding...

It is not okay to marry your cousin because you still have too many genetics that are the same and if you have kids it is a good chance they will not be 'up to standard'.

First cousin marriage is legal in 18 states. If they both are trully in love with each other then they belong together and the law has no right to interfere with destiny - God's plans. I mean, even siblings can fall in love romantically, but of course that isn't legal a anywhere except half sibs in one country very far away, but that doesn't mean its wrong.
