How to deal with long eyelashes while wearing glasses?

My bestfriend (male) wears glasses and his eyelashes are really long so they anoy him because they brush against his glasses. He wants to cut them but I told him not to because I don't want him to mess them up. Is there somewhere to go and get this done...
