I believe there is so much evil because that is what we see. It started out with the newspapers printing stories of murder and horrific automobile accidents, because it sold newspapers. Then the movies got drawn in. In the 50’s 60’s and early 70’s there were romantic comedies and mysteries where much was left to the imagination. Now the movies are full of guts, gore and psychopathic killing. Television shows and video games are now in on the action.

Each succeeding generation seems to be more prone to violence than the previous one. I believe it is because each succeeding generation is exposed to violence and evil at an earlier age, overriding the conscience. I have even seen movies where the debate of the conscience is not whether to do evil or not, but how evil or morbid does the situation call for.

To honestly answer this question, we would have to define the words evil and truth and comfortable. But I think I know what you mean so I'll try to answer this from a Biblical perspective:

Jesus says in Matthew 5:45 that God makes the sun rise on both the evil and the good. His rain falls on the just and unjust alike.

So the Biblical answer is: It is that way because God makes it that way. Which, to my mind, is no answer at all.

When Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and bad then sin has always been an option in our life and the devil wants to keep it that way. God gave us all free will and he kept it that way. you have the choice to do good or bad but the devil will always try to tempt you into doing the wrong thing.
But remeber one thing God will always forgive you he loves you he sent his son to die for you.
Remeber that and try to put your trust in God as he and only he knows what he has in plan for your life and put your trust in God with every dicision you have to make!!!
God bless you!!!

Mat 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

Mat 5:3 Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:4 Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Mat 5:5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Mat 5:6 Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Mat 5:7 Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Mat 5:8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Mat 5:9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Mat 5:10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Mat 5:13 ¶ Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Mat 5:17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:21 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

Why So Much Evil?
We live in a fallen world due to disobedience to Gods will. God gives us the
promise of divine protection, provision deliverance, however, these promises
are conditional. Obedience is what God is looking for in his creation.
He established a divine order and sin and rebellion broke that order. Chaos,
sickness and calamity are a direct result of mans original sin, leaving him
open to Satans whims. God can stem the tide of evil in our lives, thru prayer
and obedience. God has a plan to restore things to their original state. His
intention from the begining was to partner with man. Man, being the
independant creature that he is, too often chooses his own way instead of
yielding his will to that of his creator.
When man does yield to God, allowing him to bring transformation
to his fallen nature, it is still a long process. One that cannot be rushed.
Sort of like the Monarch butterfly. The process by which the (larvae)becomes
the beautiful butterfly is an ardorous one indeed. One looking on, would be
inclined to help the butterfly out, by removing the restriction, however, if this
is done, the butterfly will not develop as it should.
The process of helping that we think is good, actually can cripple
the butterfly, for life. It works the same, way, in our lives. The process we
need to go thru to become what God created us to be starts at the cross.
When we come back to the one that designed us, for the help that he so
willing offers, it begins the process of breaking our stubborn will and taking
us back to our original state of submission to the one that loves us. GS. 1-15-08

The World is filled with so much evil because, the people inhabiting this world are evil and the world is just a reflection of their sins. THis is Kali-Yuga the age of sin, where meat-eating, premarital sex, drugs, gambling, adultery, and abortion take place. It's the symptom of Kali-Yuga. So far we have been in Kali Yuga for 5,110 years so we have another 426,890 years before the world becomes good again and everybody lives for 100,000 years.
