Do you ever feel like the darkness has won?

I'm 16 and sometimes it feels as if Life shows no mercy, it makes you feel like your going crazy but your not, sometimes you feel alone and lost... does that mean that the darkness has won and your world has crashed down?

hey, you know I feel a lot like that sometimes. I feel like a complete inadequate when everything I do fails. when I never succeed. when everyone does better than me without even trying. when no one makes friends with you no matter how hard you try. but you know what? I suck it up. darkness will never win if you dont let it. I've been through a lot with family probs and all, so I think I can empathize.

simple rule of thumb:
if life shows you no mercy,
you show life no mercy.

you can get by each day with that. and for me, prayer plays a big part too. reliance and trusting in God just somehow brings you through the crappiest days.
