Encouragement to look my best

For Years now, I've been Trying to Look my BEST at EVerything. Big Events, Camp Meetings, Family Reunions. Last year I've tried Sooo hard to change my look. I went from Dark Brown Hair to Blonde. Sadly , it wouldn't go all the way and it turned out...

Orange! Everyone feared to hang out with me cause I looked like an Orange with ugly streaks all over that were totally out of control and uneven.
SO, A year later I dyed it back to my natural colour and my hair was so dead I had to Chop it ALL OFF. Now I have an uneven Cut and now I'm trying Again this year to change. By this time, . . .getting extensions. Does this seem like I'm trying too Hard to Get that Perfect Look I so badly want?
The Only person I'm trying to impress is ME. Only Me. I want to be happy with myself and Looks.
How can I look pretty and get the things I want without Trying Too Hard??

my main advice on getting perfect hair?

MAGAZINESMAGAZINESMAGAZINES !
go through them. a lot of them. a lot of girls have the same hair length, face shape, hair texture, color face complexion as you. it's easier than taking a wild guess on how it'd look on you.

if you see someone in a magazine with a hairstyle you want. take it in to a salon and have it done. I've always relied on this, and it's never failed me. good luck babe. 3
