Emotions and guys

How come guys can't show how they really feel about girls? My boyfriend know says that he can't explain how much he really loves me. I was wondering if guys in general can't express emotions like girls can?

Guys and girls are very different creatures, girls are very emotional and sensitive and in touch with our feelings and can express them. Guys are also sensitive but they dont show it becos they think they have to be the protectors and providers, thats the difference.

Being a guy I can say for sure that it is VERY difficult for us to share our emotions within even our closest relationships. There have been many times that even my wife and I have had problems because of just that reason, I cannot express my feelings. I can only explain it as a feeling of uneasiness. I have no problem telling my wife that I love her, I tell her that many times a day, but to actually sit down and explain what I love about her is a totally different story! I have found that the best way to communicate these feelings is over a medium where reactions cannot be observed. I am currently in Iraq and my wife and I chat online constantly. Here I have no problem typing a message or emailing what I feel to her. As men we cannot bear showing othersour feelings because it is so engrained into us that to be sensitve is to be weak, its a part of our biological makeup. Id say to get more insight into your boyfriends feelings, ask him to write you a note or an email, send him one first even, he may feel more at ease sharing his feelings over that medium.
