Long distance emo love in jeopardy

im in a realationship with this really sweet emo guy who lives in another state.all my friends think it wont last bc of the distance,but it this point he's doing what im doing giving it my all. its hard to communicate but he deals. also one of my friends I should dump him bc hes emo and that into the realationship there will be problems.any help?I know that labels dont matter to me so him being emo means nothing I just dont want to loose him.

As long as you keep up strong communication, there is no reason as to why other people's opinions should matter.
