Are eggs technically a dairy product?

me on a good day Asked by mr_super123 about 1 year ago, 2 answers.

I have been advised to lower my dairy intake, and was wondering if this also means less eggs?
I ask this because I often see eggs as classified as a 'dairy product' but I am just unsure of this.

no eggs are not a dairy product though they are in the same food group as milk so don't worry about eating eggs! : )
