What should I ask the hairdresser for my hair?

My natural colour is blondey/brown and I've had dyed blonde hair for ages. A few months ago I decided I was sick of the regrowth, so I got it professionally dyed dark brown with blonde chunks. It's now faded heaps to a light brown with some blonde in it but I want to go blonde again! I'm getting it done at a salon tomorrow, but I'm scared it will go brassy or orange. I want a streaky/caramel blonde... what do you suggest I ask the hairdressers for my desired resulttt?!
