Dry hair gettin on my last nerve

Asked by brighteyez about 1 year ago, 6 answers.

I got a serious problem here! I barely ever heatstyle my hair, I don't overwash it and overall take really good care of it. Problem is, that it's still bone dry! I've tried EVERYTHING! All kinds of products, home remidies, conditioners, I've done it all! I was just wondering if anyone knew of sum really good products ( pleez be specific) or home remidies that actually work and improve dry hair. I'm startin school again in under 2 weeks and I don't want to go there with my dry-ass hair! Help, I'll try anything! Thanxx

ok.....you need to go to your local pharmacy or where ever they sell shampoos and ask for a hair serum, I used to have the same problem, hope that helps, but dont use too much because it can make your hair greasy

There is a product called Biosilk. I've used it because I do have dry hair after I blow dry it and strighten it...The Biosilk its supposed to make your hair soft and less dry. As I just found out there is a shampoo and Conditioner that is biosilk also. Hope this helps! = )

What you say is almost impossible. If a shampoo for dry hair doesn't do it, use this method: brake an egg and use only the yolk to wash your hair with. It might smell a little afterwards but it should get your hair in shape after a few uses. Use it after the shampoo. If really nothing works, go see a dermatologist.

It could be your water. You may want to try a water softner. MOISTUREIZE MOISTUREIZE!!! T
Hot oil treatments and a leave in conditioner. Try shampooing your hair once a week and let your hair air dry. Stay away from products that contain alcohol. I have found that Pantene and Dove work well for me and I am now trying Biosilk because my hair is so thick it drinks everything that I put in it. Olive oil or carrot oil for your hot oil treatments. Do not have any chemicals on my hair and my hair is extremely thick, shoulder lengh and (medium) coarse texture. Good luck
