How long does paranoia from drugs last?

I'm really proud of my boyfriend for quitting drugs but I heard on of the side effects to drugs is paranoia...
If a guy in the street looks at me he'll fight them or something! Its annoying
I cant really speak to his friends or he'll say im flirting with them!! GRRR

How Long will this last, I heard that its a short-term side effect!

lol, that has nothng to do with drugs. That sounds like a personality problem, but im the same way. He's just protective. lol, blame it on the drugs, everyone else does.

well, hes obviously protective and cares about your relationship
I think the drugs actually helped him with that problem, just tell him you can be trust/build up the trust in your relationship
im pretty sure drugs didn't have anything to do with it except help...I could be wrong
