what do you think about people that use drugs?

What do you think about people that use drugs I asked because of a question and answer that I post and got yea I smoke weed maybe 3 times a month one blunt and 2 joints and some times cocoa leaves but look is that really all bad I mean it is not like...

I have to have it and I will not spend my last dollar on it I have a very nice 3 bedroom home and drive a 2005 bmw so drugs is not running my l9ife

Techincally anything that alters your chemical balance is a drug (yes that includes coffee and chocolate and alcohol) so as far as drugs go im not exactly against them.
I mean as long as you are in control of certain drugs it really is fine, problem is it is so easy to become addicted to some of them... it is so easy for them to get out of control... you really need to be able to see the distinction and you really need to be able to be honest to yourself... if they are hurting you in any way, you need to be able to see that...

well I think its fine. I really dont see why people make a HUGE deal of someone smokin weed and stuff. like seriously do they not have anything better to do with their own lives!? if you choose to do drugs its your own choice, and like you said its not running your life, and its not like its ruining it either.

Well if its only weed and your not using that much out of what you said... I think its fine... but if its like crack or meth then I would call you a loser haha and I think those type of drugs are for losers.

Some do it for escape. It's easier than making their lives better I guess.

Some do it because their friends do it. Mindless, follow the pack.

Some do it because they enjoy the sensations they get from it. Why is this bad if they're not risking their health or the safety of others? COmpare to how destructive alcohol is.

Funny how in your other question you were talking about smoking weed twice a week, now its 3 times a month? Get your facts straight would yeah.

The reason I'm against weed, at all is basically because people use it as an escape from the rest of the world. People shouldn't need weed to make them feel happy and relaxed. When people are high they tend to act like someone they aren't, and I feel you should always be yourself. I don't think its worth spending your money on something you don't need. Get your source of happiness from somewhere else that isn't harmful. You may say weed isn't harmful, but it does have some effects.
Does it make you feel happy? Find someone how gives you that happiness.
Does it make you relaxed? Take a nice bubble bath.
Does it calm you down? Go for a walk.
There are some examples, there are better choices.

couple reasons why it should be legalized:
-will be removed from black market and stop empowering gang members
-medical reasons
-would be sold like alcohol, remember alcohol was once prohibited too (in stores away from children, have to be 21+)
-would be a law that you cant drive while intoxicated on weed
-prison population would lower (prisons are overcrowding with nonviolent offenders)
-keep patients from being convicted
-would provide millions of jobs for people
-would make us an independent country (fuel, etc.., debt free america)

people with an addiction (including hard drugs) shouldnt be thrown in jail, they need help
theres more people in jail with mental illnesses than there are in mental institutions

- the War on Drugs is a failure, its a war on its own people. policies need to be changed
we pay billions in taxpayers money to keep the war going and neither side is winning
thats just a waste of our tax money

if no one stood up im pretty sure it would still be going on
people were tortured, beaten, killed and thrown in jail but that didnt stop them standing up for their rights

same with alcohol prohibition

credit cards, money, and now they have chips that can be implanted in skin for uselful reasons but if in the wrong hands well were pretty much fuct

they got theyre privacy but we dont. they want to know everything were doing on our leisure time
