Driving at night - crimes

The other day I almost got my car stolen. Messed up situation, two cars blocked my way at 1 am in the morning and I escaped driving two tires on the sidewalk two on the road. If the safest road that I take to my place is becoming dangerous, what's the best solution to stay in security ? Is a handgun a must in this kind of situations ?

thats insane, good reactions man. but I don't like guns that much. I keep large beating objects in my car

I would get a CWP (concealed weapons permit) for protection. (legal)

The best strategy is to avoid dangerous situations.

If where you live or work is putting you in danger you really need make some changes.

Personally I wouldn't use a gun to defend my car. If someone wants my car bad enough to kill me for it than I'd rather they have it than risk my life defending it. Cars can be replaced but death is final.
