Dress up or dress down?

golden retriever puppy Asked by qtpi3 about 1 year ago, 4 answers.

So my 2 friends and I want to have a masquerade ball/ dress up sweet sixteen. We want it to be really dressy. The only problem is, some of our friends' parents probably aren't going to want to buy them gowns just for our party.we probably hang out with...

the richer kids at school, but our school is very strictly divided btween rich and poor, and some of our friends dont have much money. I recommend that we just tell them to wear their favortie dress from homecoming, prom, or winter formal, but do you think it is asking too much to ask all of our friends to dress up so much? I mean its our party, right? I'm just afraid some of our friends wont go for it.

its is your guy's party you are right ... but what about your friends... what if they can not afford it? If they have a dress hanging up in their closet that its solved ... but a lot of people don't have the extra $200-$600 a dress like that costs! remember it doesn't matter what your friends look like on the outside its what they are on the inside also don't judge a book by its cover I am sure you want the party to be 100% perfect ... but if you are going to dis your friends because they can not afford a dress ... well you have priorities to think about ... plus ... don't you think it just matters if you look good? and worry about yourself ... not what the other people are going to be wearing???

remember friends will always be there... parties will not
