Dress fears

Ok I admit it I am afraid of wearing dresses but it is also because I am not used to skirts or dresses I am a tomboy big time even the kids at my school say you would look cuter if you dressed nicer. So tommoarow is the father daughter dance and I want to go but I can only go if I have a white dress so my dad is taking me to shop for one. Any ways I can make it like me? Also I am afraid to wear me bra because my dad doesn't know I do any help so I don't look 'pointy'?

Just realize how good you look in it and try to feel like you look good. All of this is in your head. And your definitely going to want to wear a bra. You dad will be more freaked out if your sticking out.

This is probably too late, but for future reference: Get a bra that is flesh colored, less obvious since no one's skin is really white! Especially if you are wearing a white dress, a white bra will stand out from your skin.

make this the one night that you can be a total girl. I used to be the biggest tomboy and I have 2 brothers. I was afraid to wear girls clothes and makeup because my parents and my brothers laughed at me and I didnt feel comfortable. but I go to a school where I dont have a uniform, so choosing clothes to wear was hard. but now I wear girls clothes and I've just strted to wear makeup, I feel heaps confident. I actually look heaps prettier and boys turn their heads. feel great. and everyone will eventually get used to your new look... I and why wont you go shopping with your mum/??? she would be better to pick out bras and dresses then your dad.
