Are there any free music download sites?

I seem to keep getting caught in this never ending alliance between AllCoolMusic, CliBank and MP3 Rocket and never getting any music downloaded. Are there any truly legitimate free downloading sites as I refuse to put my credit card number out there again as it has been stolen for other uses as well as the others I already mentioned and my credit card company has had to dipute the charges for me and I still have no product at the end of the day. How about just a radio station as I like music playing when I am working on my com.

Well I think http://www.purevolume.com could help. You can sign in and get many tracks to listen online. If you want to download free music you can download Ares (search for it in google). This program has radio stations, so while your fav tracks are downloading, you can listen more music.

Either spiralfrog.com, we7.com, or qtrax.com. They all are 100% percent free and legal!!! Limewire and all the other p2p sites and programs are not legal!

I would have to say that Napster.com or Videocure.com. they have songs that you can pick from and then download. other than that, just try limewire or bearshare. or even the others that everyone else says. for IPods, use ITunes
