How to train my dog who's scared from a shock collar?

He got shocked like only 3 times now he's scared to even go outside. Any good advice of how to train him?

dont use the shock collar. all dogs no matter what the media says are scared of pain. and for the most part dont accept pain as a consequence. i have dogs and what u have to do is show them who is dominant. thats how they learn to listen to u. if u want ur dog to go out side u have to first take the dog out more. u also have to look for sign the dog has to go. that way they get used to going outside. hit me up on what exactly u tryin to train ur dog to do

now my dogs got loose because they got shocked but ran past it. so yeah, my moms looking for them now. any more advice people?

where were they when they ran they are affraid of the collar therfore ffraid of you now. i told u not to use that shoc collar. GOOD JOB

i asked this when my dog was loose... and it was my brother who did it and our dogs love us tons... GOOD JOB, of just thinking of what I did and accusing me. :P

try to put it on a really long leash on a spike in the middle of the yard. leave him out there for a while with water and eventually itll realize that nothings going to hurt it. also, try putting some bowls aorund the yard with treats.. if hes like my dog hell be more worried about getting to the food than if hes gonna get shoked. DONT EVER USE A SHOCK COLLAR AGIAN!

my dog is pretty old now, but when she was a puppy we gave her the one thing she couldn't rezised her favourie food you got to praise him or her no matter how many times he stuffs up hes only a dog!!!
