Does soda expire

I wonder if soda expires because wellz I have had a soda from about 1year 1/2 ago and I was wondering if soda expires. Does it/ also my friend says if you have a fire cracker for more than 1yr, you cannot lite it because the gumpowder evaporates. Is that...

I think it does because it has chemical stuff in it and I would think it would eventually expire. But you should probably call the company just in case.

the sugar and fructose can break down. when that happens, gas is created. which makes the soda bad.

Fire cracker, I think will still light, since the gun powder has to be packed tight, packed safe, and packed with the reason to be contained well, before it is ignited..
My money is on that the firecracker will light and pop
