Does music affect behavior?

I started listening to screamo
And then I started getting better grades and I remembered more stuff
Is that weird I also changed my whole style I started listening in the sumer and I've noticed a bunch of improvements in my life!

YES YES YES YES!! Katieliddle233..if you think it changes your emotions,, THEN WHY WOULDN'T IT CHANGE BEHAVIOR??? If your happy you're going to act/behave happy// Makes sense to me. There is a such thing music/sound therapy. And if I'm in a sad or angry mood I just block out the world and listen to music and ta da, it makes me feel SOOO much better SO YESSS YESSS!!!

yes ,absolutely!!!
music can make you relax ,it soothes babies ,it's meditative
different kind of music can put you in a dancing mood ,can you imagine dancing all night without mucic?
some music can drive you totally and completely nuts .
what kind of music has what effect on u ,of course ,differs from person to person.

anything can affect anything else
if you love something, then obviously its going to affect you
music can affect people in a lot of different ways
also affecting behaviour
I wouldnt say that its common for screaming music to improve your grades
but if it does, then great
youve found what works for you and found something you find improves things in your life
music can help you figure out who you are...at least for the monent

It can influence behavior, yes. Ultimately, how you behave depends on you, your personality and the choices you make. Someone can be extremely be into hardcore metal, but act like a Barbie doll priness. lol.

yes,cause I get sad sometimes and when I'm sad about something I listen to like the jonas brothers or demi lovato etc. and it makes me feel a lot better.and I could listen to music and I do my work a lot faster.
