Does god like it when your phsycic?

My mom is a psycic and so is one of my brothers and I am a little bit. But I dont know if I want to tap into my abilities because I dont know if god likes it. I always used to think it was a gift that god gave you. But I dont know now what do yall think...

If you're psychic, why don't you just read god's mind to find out if he likes it or not.

I don't think it does, but I think that it is a gift of god. god gives everyone some kind of gift of their own, and you have a special one!

I think that there are links between people, especially close family or friends, which science can't explain. Some people see those links (knowing when someone is in need etc) as being 'psychic'. I don't think that God is at all worried about using those kind of links - I know some saints 'saw' things like that and considered it as a direct gift from God.

There might be other types of 'psychic' activity that God would want you to stay away from - fortune telling or manipulation of other people in any way would be wrong. There are times in the Bible where fortune tellers, mediums etc get in trouble for 'messing with people's heads', if you want to put it like that. So I suggest you pray, and ask God to talk to you about how to use what He has given you, and if there's anything He wants you to avoid. I can give you some Bible verses (or a number of others could too) if you want to look it up more.

Um there is a huge difference between phsycics and prophets. A prophet receves the word of god through the holy spirit. And a phsycic recives it from other things. It depends on what all you see and who you get your visions from as to if god likes it or not.

You are so very right... in wondering if God is infact, in agreement with this type of supernatural abilities.

And I will have to tell you that no.. he is not in agreement with this, in fact, he condemns it.

Firstly, it is said that it is not a good thing in the bible, and for theex13xchild, it was not written in the 1700's. Check your facts before you post them or people wont believe anything you say. The original manuscripts are very old, and even the copys, many of which have been carbondated originate in basically the point in the timeline that agrees with the text. Even if you do claim it was written by man, get that right, and most of it is a big history lesson as well, not just about God.

God seems to disagree with a whole lot according to the bible, including women talking in church, and what you eat on particular days. Dont worry so much... If it is a gift, where do you think it came from?
