Does anyone like these artists? are they considered 'uncool?'

I've always liked these bands/artists...but my friends tell me they are uncool or old.

-The Ting Tings
-Sum 41
-Katy Perry
-3 Doors Down

I know a lot of them are newer artists, but a lot of my friends tell me people like Our Lady Peace or Big Wreck or Switchfoot are old, uncool, or out of style. I'm really a fan of rock and pop (if you can't tell), so that's why I like those types of artists, but does anyone else like any of them???

I like most of them - who cares what your friends think, you have the right to listen to whatever you want. I've never heard of Big Wreck but Our Lady Peace and Switchfoot have some good tunes.

I like them. I haven't heard of a few, but they sound like good bands.

I agree with stephanie but for the record I've heard some stuff by Metro Station and I personally believe they could be hot!!!
And Katy Perry's single I kissed a girl just get's me all hot and bothered.
And no, I don't think her boyfriend would mind. I don't know many men who would to be honest.

Who cares what they think. I know they are your friends but tell them if they don't like then listen to something else or kiss you butt LOL

How do you hate Jesse McCartney? Haha he's not my favorite, I liked him better when his hair was longer and his videos delt with him driving a car singing about her beautiful soul or sitting on stage singing about how happy he is because she lives..haha Leavin' is really catchy though, but th videos are GROSS

look...in school and during teen years a lot of girls only listen to that new crap, and think all the old stuff is uncool or old, ect.
but the lyrics in the newer music are horriblly provocatiove and dirty
your better listening to the older stuff anyway

I just wanted to add, for the people who have never heard of Big Wreck, they're not my favorite favorite band (that's got to be our lady peace), and they're not really that popular. Lol so that's probably why you've never heard of them.

I haven't heard of all of them, but I really like Switchfoot, Weezer, and Sum 41, so I would hope they're not uncool!

if your friens say they are uncool or OLD, they are wrong. I love these bands, although I've only heard one song by the ting tings...

your frends are so rong although I havent herd of all of them I wouldnt call them uncool jesse mccartney is awesome and a lot of the other bands who cares what your frends think we all have our own opinions

SHWAYZE is probablty one of the coolest bands out there.
