How much does a tattoo hurt?

does a tattoo hurt real bad or just a little? just wonderin

Depends on your pain tolerance and what part of your body you get it.
I have 8 tattoos, some hurt, some didn't. The one on my upper arm hurt the least, it was my first one and I barley felt anything. I have one on the top of my foot and it hurt so much I almost cried, and that was my 8th tattoo. Anywhere that is boney is going to hurt more then other places with a lot of muscle/fat.

stephanie is right. I only have one on my back and it didn't hurt terribly but once she got down to my ribs it was really painful.

About the same pain as getting a shot, but thousands of times.

for me it felt like someone drawing on me with an ink pen, just pressing down harder. of course some spots are more tender though so just choose the location based off your pain tolerance
